Its goal is to equip talented developers with cutting-edge mobile app development skills, with a purpose of fueling the UAE’s digital economy by empowering thousands of Emirati youth.
This program is free of charge and available to all eligible learners who complete the enrollment application on this website.
Enrolled learners will have a duration of 6 weeks from enrollment to become certified.
Learners completing this programme will acquire fundamental skills in two of the most in-demand digital tracks in Mobile App Development.
As a learner in the Emirati Training Academy Programme, you will have the opportunity to learn about the foundational elements of the track you’ve selected, that are pivotal to the future of Mobile App Development. There are NO prerequisites to starting this programme. You do not need any previous knowledge or experience because you will learn all the fundamentals in the course and attempt the certification assessment to become certified. This phase is self-paced and allows you to go at your own speed: by studying 1-2 hours/day, you could complete this phase in just 2-3 weeks!
After completing the first phase, you will get the chance to assess what you’ve learned through a certification assessment – you will get unlimited attempts to pass the certification assessment within the duration of 6 weeks from enrollment. If you pass, you will be awarded with a Certificate of Completion signed by Udacity’s founder, Sebastian Thrun, as well as the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy’s Vice President, Saeed Al Gergawi.
The programme is designed to exclusively upskill UAE citizens (Emirati nationals of all ages, living across all Emirates). There are no technical prerequisites to enter. Basic computer skills like managing files, navigating the Internet, and running programmes will be useful. This programme will teach you everything you need to know.

The courses are virtual and self-paced.
Yes, you can take the Certification Assessment more than once. Each student will get unlimited attempts at the certification assessment within 6 weeks of their enrollment into the programme.
There is one summative assessment per track called the Certification Assessment, which you must pass in order to get certified and receive the Certificate of Completion.
